I've had my '93 S4 for about two months now, and, considering where I live, I did what you're thinking about, that is, replaced the standard 225/50 ZR 16 Michelin MXX's with 225/50 VR 16 Michelin XGT V4's (all-season). Handling is hardly affected, and the car's limited to 205 km/h anyway. As far as performance goes, you must know already that the S4 is incredibly fast. Downs SHO's in a single gulp, and in the wet or snow, you've got it made. -- Brent
