Good info on the parts source, sounds like excellent prices!
I think you can purchase just the spring, BUT, if you don't do the
computer mod the computer may think that a mechanical problem is
causing an over-boost condition and shutdown the fuel delivery
system, negating the advantage of the higher boost possible with
the stiffer spring. Raising the point that the computer detects
an over-boost condition is the major part of the computer mod.
Other changes include a more agressive ignition timing advance curve
and a raised RPM limit. You might be able to get a stiffer
"Euro" spring from Intended Acceleration.....
