Audi cold-weather stuff

To anybody who's interested, :-)

I'm kinda new to this group and I just finished reading thru THE LIST.

It`s kinda chilly up here in New Hampshire, so that discussion on the
heated seats was of great interest!.   My wifes SAAB 900'S has them, kinda
nice on those sub zero days!!  Has anybody been thru the process of adding
the heated seats to their car ? if yes, would you mind giving a quick rundown
on how tough it was, and how much the 'bone' yard charged for the pieces.

 I'm in the process of kinda adding the winter package to my 89 100 now.
So far I added the SKI bag option.  I was a little nervous about taking a
pair of metal wire shears to my car( to cut out the tabs for the factory
ski panel opening) but what the hell.

If anyone is interested in the gory details, I can post it here.
It cost me a total of $35.- and probably 15 hours of my time, I had
to sew up a new bag :-( that took probably 13 of those hours.  no sewing
machine :-(
