Yeah, that damn thing leaks again.

I must have got this Monday 87 5000s.  Thus far, I have plugged the leaks
from the steering rack and the heater core.  Now, the coolant expansion
tank is leaking, I think the hose at the expansion tank end is the cause.

I replaced the old hose clamp at the expansion tank end the leak slowed to
a trickle.  What I am afraid of is the expansion tank shows some small cracks
in its housing so I am thinking of replacing the tank and the hose from the
tank to the radiator.

My question is how do I remove that coolant level sensor from the tank, I don't
want to pull it off if it is something tricky or simple brute force may do ??

Can I just siphon off the coolant from the expansion tank instead of draining
the radiator at the engine end ??

I wonder what's next on this 5000s, oh, yeah, that small transmission leak ...
