RE: Audi pressure accumulator

My friend helped me buy a pressure guage that went up to 3000 psi at a
surplus place (for $15), and then we built a hose and connected it up
to the brake sensor place.  Doing the test in the Bently manual, we watched
the pressure go down as time went by, indicating that the check valve was
bad.  So according to the test procedures, the check valve has to be
replaces, and as it is built into the pressure accumulator.....

Thanks for the offer, but I just bought one.  Since a friend of mine had
his replaced at about 75K miles, and PAP seemed to sell them as fast as
they received them, I wanted to go with a new one instead of a used one.
