rear axle alignment

I was just wondering about rear alignment
specs for my 86 GT coupe. The Bentley 
manual says that the rear axle is not
adjustable, but provides the limits for
the camber and difference in toe for the 
left and right wheels. What am I supposed
to do if they are off of these specs? Have 
I been wasting money going for 4 wheel 
alignments before finding out this info?

The reason I am wondering is that the
rear end is fishtailing quite often now,
due to bumps when I take corners.
