All, I saw an '87 5KCSTQ fro sale in Flint yesterday at a used car lot. They wanted $8200.00 fro the car. It had a black leather interior which was torn in a couple places, the cold weather package (although it did not have heated seats!?) and it had 89,000 miles on it. It also had the pearl white paint, but the front right fender had been replaced, and the paint didn't match at all. As a progress report on the OHTSU tires that I bought a few weeks ago, I should say that they have been performing very nicely. They were a little slick for the first couple of days, but I think that it was due to mould release still on the tire. They stick quite well in rain or dry, and are quiet and smooth. For $67.00 each, they have to be one of the best deals in tires I have had in a while. I run 38psi front, and 40 psi rear. It really is impressive how this car likes to cruise all day long at 80-100 mph. Is anyone running 17" wheels on the 5000? I have a suspicion that 17" x 7.5" would fit with 215/45-17 tires, particularly if they were BFGs which seem to run a little narrow for their size. Any opinions? thanks for all replies.
