Oil pressure fixed

Earlier I was having a problem with extreamly low oil pressure. It would 
normally operate about 1.8 bars or less. I finally got around to getting 
the oil changed from winther 10w-30 to some summer 15-40 synthetic ( I am 
switching for good to synthetic ) and now the oil pressure is usially 
pegged at 5 bars or so. (!) I will proably NOT put 10-30 in my car next 
winter, because it just doesn't work well with my car - it was almost 
that low all winter. Oh well. The only quesiton I have is, Could this 
have hurt my engine in any way - running LOW low low oil pressure?
