I?ve been enjoying the discussion lines here for several months; as
an Audi lover it?s heartening to see the level of enthusiasm every
one has for their cars and the Audi Brand.
  
I work for Volkswagen Asia-Pacific in Hong Kong, and am responsible
for strategic market planning for the Group Brands in Asia, with
particular emphasis on China.  We built around 150,000 Shanghai
Santanas (remeber the Quantum....), First Auto Works VW Jettas and
First Auto Works Audis in 1994.  VW is far and away the market
leader in China, and Audi is the choice for executive transport.
  
FAW sold around 22,000 locally made Audis in 1995, most of them C3
4 and 5 cylinder models.  They also assembled a limited amount of
C4 V6, and V8s.
  
We have in our storage room a limited amount of the 1995 Audi AG
Calendars left over from a promotion done for our Hong Kong importer;
 perhaps you?ve seen them if you?ve been to Europe.  They are 28
inches by 22 inches, printed on high quality art board paper stock
and feature photos of the A4, A6, A8, RS2, S6 and more in "life
style" setting photos taken on the roads and in the cities of Europe.
  
It?s bad luck to give out a calendar in Asia after the year has
started, so my boss says "throw ?em out".  They are far too nice to
turn into land fill in Victoria Harbour, but our space here is
limited so I?m offering them - free - to anyone who wants one.
  
The only catch (you knew there was a catch...) is that you have to
pay the postage.  They are heavy things, I have checked with the
Post Office and to the US it would cost $17.00 by ship (two months),
$25.00 by air (ten days).

I truly wish I could send them out at no charge, especially to such
die hard afficionados as the Quattro Net members, but the accountant
here said "absolutely no way".  So, if you want something classy for
