No, not the 5 cylinder motor we're all accustomed to, but the 4 cylinder 2L motor from the early 70s Audi 100--the one with the problematic inboard brakes. I believe this motor continued for some time as a truck motor (after the 5 cyl Audi 100 was introduced in the late 70s) as well as the basis for the 924. When Audi discontinued the 4 cylinder, Porsche brought out the 2.5L 944 motor (or rather, halved the 928 V8). Linus Toy LToy@aol.com
