[Author Prev][Author Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Author Index][Thread Index] Mixing tires on a Quattro
Well, Angela's 90Q failed inspection today for shot front tires. The alignment problem she's having claimed its first victim. Anyway, the rear tires look as good as new, so I'd like to replace only the fronts. I can just put the same Touring T/A on them, but they are unremarkable tires that don't do much for me. I'd like to replace them with the Comp T/A's like on my 100Q. The question is, can I do this only on the fronts, or will the possible difference in actual size give the drivetrain a problem? Also, does anyone know for sure if the 3-pin multi-function temp. sensor for "80, 90, 100, 200 & 5kstq 1986 and up" works on the 20V? I'd like to put it in her car, which needs it more than mine. -- Andrew L.
