I had this happen and the car would only do 35 mph on the freeway. I had the cat replaced with a factory one and it was about $400 but it really ran nice after that. I did check a JC Whitney catalog and found a cat for $80 but my mechanic told me it wouldn't work well and he wouldn't put a cheap one on.
