Jeff,

Try alternately freezing and heating the thing to try to break them
loose.  Just before you try again I would let it soak in the freezer
and then put a torch on the inner race while you try to pull it.  I
always soak things like this with WD-40 before I reassemble them so
that they will come apart more easily next time.  One bearing I did
was so easy the inner race stayed in the bearing when I pulled the
hub!

I am leery of cutting or using a chisel.  I think that I ruined a hub
that way once.
