I have heard many stories of unreliable electricals on early 1980's Audis. I have an 82 Audi Coupe (Canadian Edition) and have had a lot of trouble with power windows. The cost of new motors and cable assemblies is outrageous, in my opinion and I am wondering if any owners have managed to have the windows replaced without incurring a major cost. I would also like to hear from 82 Coupe owners as I am in the process of restoring mine.
