Vents again?

Hi guys,

I had to smile at the discussion of arctic air coming in through 
those center vents.  I have the opposite problem with my "new" TQC.  
It's been unseasonably warm the past couple days even for a southern 
California winter.  No matter what I do with the climate controls, I 
get HOT air from  the SIDE dash vents, like it's coming straight off 
the engine.  I was blasting the air conditioner to counteract it, 
then finally just shut off those outside vents.  What gives?
