FYI, I pulled off the > connections and put them back on and they were clean on snugly on there. It is probably chafed wires where the wiring harness comes in along the trunk lid hinge. Take a close look at the wires there for broken insulation, kinks, etc. This seems to be a fairly common problem. It can be fixed with some rubber tubing or tape. -- Andrew L.
