No doubt! I hate it when people do that. I was being a good samaritan
the other day... I came across a Ford Truck on the side of the road with
a dead battery. I offered to jump it, since i had cables etc. He started
in on me how my 5 cylinder (he didnt know it was a 5 of course, and he
never heard of one etc.. and asked "doesnt it run rough?" "No you
snapperhead, its not a 6 with one cylinder missing.."..) anyway..i
digress.. He started to tell me that my 5 cylinder couldnt possibly jump
a v8. After an arguement, i said "gee your right, you'll have to wait for
someone else." What a bozo.
WRT 'murican engines, so far the only american engine Ive seen that has
promise is the northstar. I still think Ford has a long way to go,
including their modular engines....
