Group, I'm not sure how much we would benefit with more specific subject headings, but I will share experience with you. In the Datsun/Nissan Z-cr list to which I also belong, we use the following subject note preceding the text in the "Subject" line: Examples.... <Z> 240-Z series, 1980-74 <280> 280-Z series 1975-78 <ZX> ZX series 1979-83 <300) 84-89 300 Series <All> Pertains to all cars - things like radar detectors, speed limits, antifreeze, oils and filters, tires....other non-model specific posts. I could easily see us preceding our subject line text with such items as......... <4K> <5K) <100> <200> (80> <90> <S4> <All> and probably, <Bob> and <BZZZZZt>, some of which would at least indicate the specific car (or standing joke) we are addressing. I'm not lobbying for this, but if the discussion proceeds, I thought I could at least offer it. It's pretty easy to deal with and does make scanning messages easier, especially in the digests. Enough fer now... *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** Al Powell Voice: 409/845-2807 Ag Communications Fax: 409/862-1202 107 Reed McDonald Bldg.
