It was the bane of motorcyclists everywhere and it suddenly appeared in the lane in front of my wife. Winifred was travelling at 50+ in the S6 when a VW bus pulls out in front of her. She slammed the brakes and the ABS did its job. When I saw her afterwards, she was still pumped from the adrenalin rush. She said there was never any loss of control, unlike her '93 Acura which twitches a bit under full braking w/ ABS. She indicated to the driver of the microbus that she was okay and that Audi was #1. The guy was a 2-striker (old man w/ hat _and_ in a microbus). After a couple of scotches, we got her settled down and had a nice Valentine's Day dinner... great cars.... ;) -steve powers '95.5 S6 ...
