Cleaning inside of headlight lense...

I would greatly appreciate if someone can describe how to remove the outer
headlight lense or (entire unit, if necessary) on an 87 5kCSTQ (U.S.), so I
can clean moisture from the inside surface. I thought I could do it through
the bulb hole, but it seems there is an entire outer lense over the bulb
housing. Must be a dried out seal around this causing moisture build up (in
the inward "marker" light portion).
