Porterfield break pads

I just got back from the local racing goodies store with
my new K&N filter.  I was talking to Scott, the sales dude,
about pads and things as I soon need to do new pads and 
rotors.  Anyway, he mentioned Porterfield as a possible
substitute for repco.  The Porterfiled pads are carbon-kevlar
material and they come in a street version that is close in
price to the repco's. 

Anyone have any feed back on this?
