Fuel problem ??

I have an '89' 200 with 110 K that has developed what I think is a fuel
starvation problem. When monitoring the computerized vacumn gauge,
consistently at 1.0 bar the car seems to go into a nose dive. It doesn't
seem to matter the gear or speed, once the bar reads 1.0 blahhhhhhhhhhh.
The only exception being when run after having sit for 6-8 hours but only
for a short time then it acts up again.
Any feed back as to possabilities, fuel pressure regulator, accumulator???
