5K starting prob

Folks
maybe you can help me out now.  I have never encountered this before.  I have
a suspicion that it is my cold start valve however.  Whenever I start my car,
it'll fire, run for a second and then die.  A second try usually gets it going
just fine.  But sometimes after initiall startup, it will run like crap until
I get moving.  Any ideas?  I have changed the fuel filter already and spark
plugs.
