88 90 Radio

I am replacing the radio in my 88 90.  I am a little confused.  Since the
front speakers are passive, have no trouble hooking up there.  But since the
rear are active, how should I hook up the speaker.  I will be using a Sony
CD player with 30x4.  I also want the tweeters to work in the rear as well.
I have a manual that just shows the radio connection and tells what wires 
are what but is not that descriptive.  It shows Front right&left + and - but
only shows a wire labeled rear right speaker, left right speaker. No clues
as how to hook it up.  All help appreciated.
