odometer need repair

I have an 88 90 that the odometer doesn't work on.  It is one of the electric
controlled units.  I'd like to know if I could possibly repair it or
if any of you know of someone who does relatively cheap.  I quoted 125 from
1 place, but really don't want to pay that much.  Thanks.
