The sensor that operates the injector blower motor is mounted on the heat
shield for the WG to intake manifold.... I believe it is a ground switch,
and this fan only operates with the engine off in it's stock form.... The
purpose of the blower is to prevent vapor lock of the fuel injectors and
lines from hot shut off heat soak of the intake manifold and FI lines, above
that exh manifold... Not sure any gains would be had from a bypass
operation while running, but I've heard of crazier things....
