Replacement of 1987 Audi Head Light Assembly

I am the original owner of a 1987 Audi 5000SQ (no turbo) with 115K miles.  I
am replacing the entire lens assembly for the passenger side head light
(it's cracked) and would like some instruction for how to remove the old one
and install the new.  The chrome trim is in the way of the retaining screws
and I don't see how to solve this among other problems.  I purchased the
Lens assembly from Clair Parts on the preferred list.  A detailed step by
step would be appreciated.  Thank you, Bruce
