Thanks for feedback.  Coincidently I just had my 7500 miles service today and
told them about the B-pillar rattle.  They seems to have fixed it since I
have not heard it when I drove home just now.  

The service record states that they tightened the door striker (whatever that
is) and adjust the locking wedges in the door or pillar.  The service
supervisor said that this was caused by temperature and the wedges were "out
of alignment".

Will let you know if it comes back again.
