After all the dicsussion of oils, I'm moved to pass along my favorite trick to remind myself of when to change oil or filter, and when to rotate tires. I have a small Dymo tape label maker. When I change oil or filter, or rotate tires, I make a small Dymo label like: <ROTATE 68K> and stick it in (inside) the extreme top left corner of the windshield. This is an area one never uses for driving, - but every time I look up, I see: <FILTER 70K> and <ROTATE 72K> or similar mesages. A cheap and easy reminder. Those labels will hold up for some months, even in the hottest climates. I got the idea by finding a Dymo label on the outside of my windshield which had been placed there 10 years ago by the dealer.
