[Author Prev][Author Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Author Index][Thread Index] Another Bart Nephew?
The good Unka Bart quoth: > For me, in order, <new 8-car garage,> McLaren, 993tt, '91 200Q20v Wagon, 928GTS > (last year of production run), Audi V8 5sp, F355 Cabrio, '67 GT-40, '63 Lincoln > Connie 4-door Convert, <move, new house, new 16 car garage with maintenance bays > & Lift> '57 Chrysler 300 Convert, '56 Corvette V8/4sp, Ur-Q, '67 Corvette > 427/435. ( gotta keep a couple of bays for visitors... ) > > Yer Kindly ol' Unka Bart If you had another nephew, could he (I) negotiate for a '67 GTO ragtop (Barrier blue, black interior) and a '59 Ford Skyliner (blaze red with white accents...)? With an option for a Mercedes Gullwing? And I could live with the Lincoln in either the hardtop or ragtop, long's I didn't EVER have to reach a wrench under the hood (shudder...). But - if you had a choice between a '63 T-Bird convertible and the Lincoln Connie, wouldn't that be a toughie??? Hmmmm? Also, Unk, I am very torn between the E-type and D-type Jags. If you go for the model with the offset vertical racing wing, I'll tip on the side of the D-type. O'course, if I were still single, I'd want to borrow the E-type as the best way to meet girls..... Finally, for a daily driver, wouldn't you be just a BIT tempted to find a nice 300ZX TwinTurbo??????????????????????????? (In the 2+2 flavor, if you've a mind to haul groceries at warp speed.....). Veddy nice and tasteful for the Unk with the most spunk! Al Powell Voice: 409/845-2807 107 Reed McDonald Bldg.
