5KTQ timing pins

The timing pin(s) for the ignition timing sensor is-are missing from my
flywheel.  Is this why my car will only start when the tach needle moves on
cranking? I need a part # for this part as the local Audi dealer has no
idea what I am asking for..  Thanks
