Al,

	Sorry, I don't have my Bentley electrical manual handy 
(neighbours, you know?) so I can't say for sure.  Is there a brake light 
relay?  Or something similar between the brake switch and the brake 
lights?  If so, it could be getting a false signal for "lights on" 
similar to the way we ground out the T terminal of the fuel pump relay to 
keep it running under high boost.  You might also check for pinched wires 
in the trunk.  (Done any radio wiring lately?)
