88 90Q is blowing fan resistor packs

Hi all, 

When I got my 1988 90Q, it didn't have a working blower motor, it only 
worked in high. So I went and got a new resistor pack and pluged it in, 
and the motor worked for about 30mins, and then went back to only working 
in high. So I replaced the motor itself, and the resistor pack. This 
lasted about as long as the initial replacment of just the resistor...

This is really buggin' me... The resistors are less then cheap, and there 
obviously not the problem... ANY ideas as to whats going on?
