I have the same problem with the brake pad warning coming on for no
apparent reason. Nowhere as often as you (maybe once a week at the most,
and sometimes not for a few weeks). I know my pads are OK because they
were checked at a dealer last week during an oil change (and I can't
believe a dealer would turn down the chance to tell me I needed new brakes
if I did need new ones). I just hit the reset button and don't worry about
it.
