Two Internet providers-is it worth it?

Hi all!

It's good to be back. My provider (GNN) is having its e-mail server down for 
the second time in 48 hours. My In-Box is flooded, I'll try to squeeze as 
many answers as I can before it breakes down on me again.

Sh*t! I shouldn't have said that. I has just thrown out the familiar now 
message: "network communication failure". AGAIN????

Well, eventually I'll send it out, and when I do I'd like to ask a question:
some of you guys list 2 e-mail addresses. Is it for home aand work or is it 
for one address/CPU only.
If so, is it worth it. I have loads of promo freebies, maybe I should use 
one as a second provider/back up.
