They will probably be able to halve the cost. They stock Lobro (sp?) OEM CV joints. Alternatively, try one of the companies advertising in Ex. & Mart as CV joint specialists. I have no idea how successful these remanufactured joints are, but if cheap enough, it might be worth the risk. Alternatively, try a scrap yard - Sanburn in Coventry are good - they specialise in VWs & Audis. They would probably sell you an entire diveshaft with both CV joints for less than GBP100 (just a guess). DON'T buy from the dealer except as a last resort.
