Hi Folks, I too have had some bad experiences with NTW. Here's the best! I went in for a simple "no charge" 6k mile rotation and balance with my 5Ks last winter. They proceeded to break off a lug bolt and asked me to return the next day. I didn't like this idea one bit...but I figured..hey, mistakes happen. Next evening they proceeded to destroy not 1, not 2, but 3 easy-outs and then started using a torch and a hammer while I watched in utter horror (why I let them is still a mystery). They screwed this up so bad (in addition to igniting the CV boot at one point) that I insisted the entire hub and CV boot be replaced by my mechanic while they paid for the rental car. They paid my mechanic $500+ and rented me a brand new Northstar Sedan DeVille for a week. Let's see....$800 for a broken lug bolt..nice job guys. An employee there told me that this incident changed policy at NTW in the region covering Portsmouth, NH and that if this happens again on an Audi that the hub is just immediately replaced by them. Interesting.
