I don't know, but I know a man who will ... Roger Galvin, our UK membership secretary, maintains a 200QT as his daily runabout. He followed me home (at least, he tried to - I was kind and slowed down a little) from a recent area meeting and I'm sure his lights are as good as mine - clean and bright but not dazzling. Externally, they look pretty similar. The Cibie/Hella timeline is the other way round - the _early_ four-headlight ur- quattros in the UK used Hella lights. The "sloping grill" cosmetic changes were accompanied (according to my parts fiche) by a change to Cibie. I'm thinking of changing my lights. If this Pikes Peak silliness actually _happens_, I'll need LHD lenses. I thought of buying replacement Cibies complete with lenses and the power adjustment feature. The lenses are compatible with my existing ones - back in the UK, I can just swap the lenses and keep the power adjustment. The loom already has the connectors behind the lights and dashboard. -- Phil Payne phil@sievers.com Committee Member, UK Audi [ur-]quattro Owners Club
