It adds up to about 2000-2500 miles (again, depending on route), so figure 40-50 hours of driving. - -- In 1981 four skiers returned to Stowe, Vermont from Snowbird (Salt Lake City, Utah) in just under 48 hours. Route via Chicago. Alternated drivers. Stopped only for food, gas & switching drivers. Car - AMC Eagle 4wd station wagon. Milage 2,500 or 2,800 miles I think?
