Hella XL mounting location? (Long)

I have 100w/side on low.  I've noticed today, though, that the stock water 
spray system simply can't cope with the rate at which salty spray can dry out 
on a headlamp lens with 100w behind it.
 
Now then - do those still running 55w also get this phenomenon - or can the 
stock headlamp washers deal with the thinner, wetter film?

Has anyone looked at mounting wipers like (erm) ovloV use?
