	It was interesting to read QSHIPQ's [man, fingers still want to 
type PDQSHIP:)] assessment of the BMW 540i 6.  Drove one last week, 
pretty damned amazing.  But, what if Audi imported cars like BMW?

	For instance, S8 with 338bhp?  Interestingly, Audi is going back 
[at least on that car] to the ol' solid tappets--remember how to check 
valve clearance:)??  Apparently running 11.6:1 compression--recommending? 
98 octane.  Hmmmm  Little wonder they don't bring it over.

	Oh well, just have to work toward the 5's performance with some 
tweeks to the wagon [6 speed anyone?].  Can't wait til summer.
