Low Idle

While you consider the other responses, don't miss the easy and 
obvious: check ALL the hoses in the crankcase breather system!!  The 
multi-port hose at the rear of the valve cover and the large diameter 
hose feeding it are notorious for going bad...and a leak there means 
low idle.
