>>> From: Peter Henriksen <peterhe@microsoft.com> Date: Fri, 31 Jan 1997 12:46:23 -0800 Don't expect any improval in reception (unless you're getting next to nothing now) with a FUBA. Mine is not doing well for at all: FM is passable, but still weak compared to our Acura, and AM is - quite literally - non-existing. - - peter <<< Have you perchance replaced the factory radio? The Fuba antennas have two amplifiers for AM & FM and they need to be powered. The factory radios provide power to the antenna amps through the harness. If you have changed the radio it may not be wired to provide power to the antenna resulting in zero AM reception and poor FM reception. Very common problem when people upgrade their stereos in VW/Audis with roof mounted whip antenna. Bob
