Interesting; I have 110,000 miles on my Coupe and it has always been extremely smooth; haven't noticed this hesitation. Biggest thing I would watch for is the bomb (brake pressure accumulator); with the engine idling, pump the brakes about 20-25 times quickly. If the warning light comes on, the bomb is probably bad. Better check is to start the car after it has been off for several hours; light should not com on if bomb OK, but a person could have started it for a minute shortly before you came to look at it and repressurized the bomb. All the 90q20vs I've driven have had a hesitation between 3K and 4K RPM during acceleration. It doesn't bother my wife, but it was most of the reason I decided to buy a new A4. Make sure the diff lock works. Enjoy, Sean - -- >>
