One of the members of the UK quattro Owners Club wrenches for one of the four
designated A8 bodyshops in the UK.
He relates that they have (at _great_ expense) had to build a completely
separate facility for A8 bodywork. Audi is apparently anal-retentive about the
tools and equipment used - the A8 section of the workshop is almost
hermetically sealed off from the rest of the shop. No tools or equipment may
cross the line - anything used within the A8 area has to be qualified for use
on aluminium, etc.
