Well, if money were no object, then I'd buy an A8, but assuming you 
really like the A4, then I'd start with a V-6 A4 since there is no 
substitute for cubic inches, and then I'd twin turbo it.   I'd use an 
aftermarket EFI system so that you could tune it for all the new found 
power.   Lotsa money, but lotsa power.
