V-6 trans. fluid change

A mechanic said that to fill the trans. fluid, one motor mount must be loosened
and the engine/trans. dropped a bit.

This supposedly will take an hour of labor.

Is this true? It seems ridiculous. Can anyone tell me something different (and
true!)?
