FYI, I talked to Ned Richie at Intended Acceleration yesterday re: his planned 1.8t mods. Here's what I gleaned from the phone conversaion. I'm a bit unclear of the mods needed to get beyond the 220 mark, but Ned seems confident that reliable power into the low 300s is available. It sounds like the "chip" mod is actually 2 chips. And he strongly cautions against doing this mod at home. Not sure why. Mod Price HP after mod Chip(s) $800 192 (I've heard 207lb/ft torque from another source familiar with Ned's work) Exhaust $800??? 202 New turbo ??? 220 New exh. manifold ??? up to 280 Max ???
