I got my insurance valuation back on Tuesday.) 1984 model year and later cars command a premium in the US due to their limited numbers and numerous improvements over the previous years' models. We never got the digital dash (I know how you feel about the dash, Phil) or the "voice" in the US models, so the '84s and '85s are the most desireable in the US. The seller of this particular car lives in my neck of the woods and I've taken a good long gander at this particular specimen. It seems to be in good mechanical shape, but the paint on the car is awful. The seller had it re-sprayed the original color (white) at some point and it looks like he took it to the cheapest place he could find. There's overspray everywhere. All the moldings, on the intercooler, everywhere. If he had left the windows down, they would have painted the inter- ior. It's too bad. It's a nice, complete, original car otherwise. Good day.
