I'm looking for the 0.25" female crimless conectors with the bayonette (sic) tab on the back to lock them into headlight plugs, relay holders, fuse blocks. If you're going to say Digikey, please tell me the part number because none of the 3M or AMP connectors seem to have the little tab. I've searched the AMP on-line data base with no luck. Someone must know a place other than the dealer. I can never get to the dealer during the week and the dealer isn't willing or is unable to lookup part numbers for these things. They say I must come in. Any help is appreciated. >>> Don't now the p/n's off the top of my head but just call AMP and ask for their Faston terminals catalog. You can get them with or without the tab lock. I think they have a real technical name such as Faston Tab-Lok terminals. The catalog should list the p/n's for single pieces (I'm quite certain you don't plan on buying the 10,000 piece rolls). Most AMP dealers will probably insist on a minimum order of 100 pieces. You could also get them from Hella. At least they had them in their catalog about 8 years ago. Wurth may also carry them. BTW, I'm assuming you mean solderless and not crimpless. Also you need a special crimping tool that is designed to roll over the crimp tabs. A good electronics store should carry them. Oh, and headlights (non 9000 series bulbs) do not use .250 inch terminals. They are .312 inches wide. A little more difficult to find. AMP did make them as part of their Faston series in a tin plated brass, but I haven't seen them in the latest catalog. If you really need headlight terminals I could search my old catalog for the number and you can call AMP to see if they still have something similar. Bob R.
